Dr. Javed Barkatullah's paper on bitcoin mining processor design has been published in the March/April 2015 issue of the IEEE Micro journal. IEEE Micro is a prestigious peer reviewed journal that brings together top research from the leading microarchitects and scholars from around the world. It is a bimonthly publication of the IEEE computer Society. Dr. Barkatullah is the primary author of this paper which expands on the presentation he made in the Hot Chips 26 Conference on August 12, 2014 on the architecture, design and implementation of the first generation of bitcoin mining processor and system by Cointerra, Inc.
